cultural backSTORY
My emphasis on cross-cultural awareness & integration stems from my own family roots, being born in the UK to East African Asian parents. Alongside 2 years working in Shanghai, China, I’ve had valuable exposure to cultural influences and nuances in both my personal and professional life, and feed into the course content.
Podcast knowledge
I’m also the creator and host of ‘Roots to Routes’, a global top 5% podcast, which brings to light the influences of upbringing and personal family history on guests who have dedicated their lives to a career driven by a purpose to make a positive impact on the world.

I bring 10+ years experience working in international roles across the Banking and Tech sector in both large corporate and startups. Workshop
Philosophy
“Facts alone don’t change people’s minds”. I believe connecting emotions with taking action is the key to bringing about any lasting change in both behaviour and mindset. My approach centres on 3 pillars: engage with the content, educate through stories, and empower through personalised practical takeaways.
INTERVIEW INSIGHTS
I have interviewed 50 first or second generation immigrants on cross cultural awareness, moving abroad, career change, cross generational influence, career change, adapting to new cultures, mixed heritage, family expectations, and challenging the status quo.
CONTENT
Each workshop is centred around giving participants a holistic, study-backed understanding of the nuanced impact that cultural differences have on various working styles and preferences. Additionally, these sessions will provide an array of practical application tools designed to enhance participants’ ability to create a more culturally intelligent (CQ) workforce.
By exploring the intricate relationships between culture and work dynamics, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in a diverse workplace environment.
